As a concierge in kissimmee, I'm invited out to some of the best restuarants Kissimmee and Orlando have to offer, and I am expected to know what restaurants will do the best job satisfying my guests. I know food very well. When I get off work and am making my way back home to Maitland, I go to Mima's for lunch. It has became a personal favorite in a very short amount of time and has helped me turn my girlfriend onto Cuban food. The best thing about it for me is that they offer large portions of exceptional food for a very reasonable price. It's one of the few restaurants where you can pick up a hot sandwhich with bread baked right on site with a free side (fresh plantain chips) for only $6.50 or so. All of the food I've ordered has always come made to order, fresh and with a personal touch. Also, the crew at Mima's is amazing. Each employee genuinely cares about the satisfaction of their guest, the service is fast and they enjoy what they do. As an added bonus, unlike a couple other Cuban eateries in the area, Mima's has plenty of indoors seating to make lunch that much more enjoyable. We moved to Orlando a year ago and looked for an authentic Cuban place, being Cuban ourselves. We happened upon Mima's and couldn't be happier! EVERYTHING is delicious and just like our Nanita and Mamita would make. Thank you all! We'll spread the word to everyone we know! “Gene and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary and decided to renew our vows in our new home. We had about 80 + guests. And a majority of them were Spanish so they were tough critics. We had the servers pass the appetizers and serve the guests and they also refilled people's drinks as well. The catering company was so professional and friendly and the appetizers were cooked fresh in my kitchen. All my guests complimented on the food and the service. The caterer was well organized and relaxed and the party was just so much more enjoyable for me knowing that the food was well taken care of” - Jeanette
